Roni Gilboa Maguire

Roni Gilboa Maguire is a Birth and Postpartum Doula who is specialised in supporting Homebirths and Midwifery-led care. She is experienced in empowering women to achieve a physiological birth through Breathwork, hydrotherapy, the use of a birthing pool, vocalisations, and movement techniques to encourage optimal positioning for labour and birth.

Roni is also a qualified breathwork, mindfulness, and Pilates practitioner with over 15 years of experience. She holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology and has a background in contemporary dance. This combination of academic depth and embodied practice supports her approach as a doula, allowing her to integrate both mind and body in the birthing process.

Roni believes that birth is a transformative rite of passage that can be a deeply spiritual and empowering experience. She works with her clients to help them tap into their inner wisdom and strength to bring about the birth they envision.
During labour, she draws on experience and training to offer:
• Emotional reassurance
• Physical support (e.g., massage, positioning, rebozo, Spinning Babies techniques)
• Calm presence and practical guidance for both the mother and her birth partner
• Advocacy of the mother's choices
• Acts as the birth partner for women without a partner or those who prefer to birth without their partner
• Evidence-based practice
